The whole Borgo is set on a small hill in front of Assisi in the centre of a park which has been entirely fenced off. It is an ideal place to enjoy the quiet of the country and the culture of the surrounding Umbrian area, being accessilble to Spello, Spoleto, Perugia, Todi, Deruta, Città di Castello and many other beautiful etruscan hilltop towns.
How to get to Borgo Colderba.

- Coming from Roma, leave the A1 autostrada at Orte taking the E45 highway which passes by Narni, Todi, Deruta and Perugia.
- Coming from Milano/Bologna, leave the A1 Autostrada at the exit Valdichiana and continue in direction of Perugia.
Once you arrive to Perugia continue over the ringroad following the signs for Assisi. Take the Assisi-Foligno superstrada (ss75) and after 1 km take the OSPEDALICCHIO road on your right which then passes under the superstrada. Take this road to Assisi (No. ss147). Pass the little villages of Ospedalicchio and Bastiola. Continue straight towards Assisi passing on your right Hotel Green (approx 3 kms from Assisi). 1.5 kms after hotel Green, on the crest of a small ridge, there is a warning sight for Deer -7kms, and a sign reading 9over ss147, immediately after this on your right is a dirt road (marked by a beautiful tree) which curls back around the hillside. Take this road , via della Passerella, and the first house on the road is Borgo Colderba. If the gate is open then keyholder will welcome you inside.
